Riding Lessons
Four Gs Equestrian has a comprehensive lesson program to suit a variety of riders and experience levels. We stress safety first, followed by enjoyment and advancement.
We start all new riders, regardless of experience, with an introductory private lesson. This enables us to evaluate the skills of the rider. When certain skills are attained, riders are moved into private or group lessons, which are beneficial for learning by observing others.

Lesson Policies
Arrival Time: Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled lesson time. In addition, plan for an additional 30 minutes after your lesson to properly care for the horse and tack.
Cancellations: We require a minimum 24-hour notice if a lesson is to be cancelled. If you give less than a 24-hour notice, there is a $25 fee, you will still receive a makeup. No shows will not receive a makeup lesson.
Inclement Weather: Weather in Florida is often unpredictable. We do not cancel lessons for mild showers. However, if there is lightning and/or heavy rain, lessons will be cancelled, and you will be notified. If you have not received a call, we will be expecting you for your lesson. However, there is a chance that you could arrive for your lesson, even be on your horse, and it could be cancelled due to lighting and/ or heavy rain.
Make-ups: All make-ups must be taken in the month the lesson was missed (except for the last lesson of the month, which must be taken within the first two weeks of the following month).
Payments: Riders are required to lesson a minimum of once a week to receive the package discount. Payment for lessons must be prepaid at the first of the month, sent via QuickBooks.
Refunds: Due to the nature of our business, we do not issue refunds.

Introductory Private Lesson - $125
A one-on-one lesson, one-and-a-half hours including grooming, tacking-up, riding, untacking, and aftercare of horse and tack. Mandatory for all first time riders in our program, regardless of level.
Little Tykes Lessons - $75
Private lessons for kids ages 3-6 years old, $75 per lesson (minimum of 4 must be used within the month). Includes 15 to 20 minutes of riding learning basic horse-riding skills and position. A great introduction to horses.
Group Lessons - $80
One hour of riding instruction with 2-6 students (minimum of 4 must be used within the month). Single Group Lessons are $90.
Private Lessons - $125
One-on-one intensive riding instruction (minimum of 4 must be used within the month).
Single Private Lesson - $150
One-on-one intensive riding instruction for one session.
