Our IEA Teams
We encourage group participation and camaraderie for our young equestrians through our Four Gs Equestrian and American Heritage School* IEA (Interscholastic Equestrian Association) teams. This fosters an atmosphere of unity, where members strengthen friendships, challenge their abilities, and become more experienced and confident riders. And the best part is, IEA riders do not need to own a horse or tack to participate!** Parental involvement is welcomed and encouraged, further enhancing the family feel at Four Gs Equestrian.

* We coach American Heritage School Delray Beach Middle and Upper School teams; the school provides bus transportation to the barn multiple times a week.
** Riders are required to ride at least twice per week to be eligible to show.
About IEA
IEA provides an affordable alternative to classical showing, giving fourth through twelfth grade students the opportunity to compete in a team environment and prepare them for the college levels at the same time. At the high school level, colleges (both equestrian colleges and universities with emerging NCAA programs) scout for talent, as well as offer scholarships.
IEA Teams and Shows are divided into Zones. Florida is a member of Zone Four, which also includes Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. Team and Rider show points are accumulated and count towards qualifying for Region 5 Finals. Riders need 18 points to qualify to Region 5 Finals. If rider or team places with in the top required allotment, they will move on to Zone 4 Finals, from there you need a required ribbon to qualify for National Finals. How do I join?
Interested students need to first contact Coach Jackie George or Allison George Mora. Afterward, new members need to register with the IEA on its website, www.rideiea.org, pay the IEA fee online, and mail or scan to the IEA membership office for official processing. Those interested in joining the 2024/2025 team can register any time throughout the year.
